There are two new Kata locations; the easiest way to describe them is that both are elevated…The Pescadero location is nestled inside the condo / hotelito Besos de Mezcal on the Baja Beans road, while the Todos Santos location is atop Plaza Mis Amores on Calle Cuahetmoc in Todos Santos.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO…

Kata used to be this sleepy yet solid sushi and everything restaurant in the heart of Pescadero. It was pretty unassuming and always open. And then they closed and we were bummed. But they’ve reopened in TWO new locations both with epic ocean sunset views! The Todos Santos location took over the restaurant that used to be another wonderful Japanese-inspired and sushi spot above Plaza Mis Amores in El Centro, while the Pescadero location took over the restaurant in a sweet little hotelito with views of the sunset and farmland surrounding it. The menu is pretty similar at each location, fresh fish when it’s pulled from the ocean, a few cooked dishes, great cocktails and lovely service. Buen provecho!
