There are two Kata locations; one is beachside, the other is downtown. The beach location is nestled inside the hotelito Besos de Mezcal on Baja Beans road, while the other is in the original location after a renovation in el centro.

Kata used to be this sleepy yet solid sushi and everything restaurant in the heart of Pescadero. It was pretty unassuming and always open. And then they closed and we were bummed. But now they’ve reopened and added a second location with epic ocean sunset views! The menu is pretty similar at each location, fresh fish when it’s pulled from the ocean, a few cooked dishes, cocktails and lovely service. Buen provecho!
