KNOW BEFORE YOU GO…
The cafe in a container has been open for less than a week for breakfast and lunch, and it’s already the space to run into all your friends who love delicious food and good vibes. It’s the newest project from the La Comuna partners (who seriously never stop working), and a beloved chef and his wife.
Dali was the chef at Benno at the Hotel San Cristobal before he and Mercedes moved back to the family ranch (which just happened to be the incredible Rancho Sol de Mayo in Santiago—very worth a day trip to the waterfall).
We’re thrilled they have returned to the area and are making great food happen in a shipping container. They’ve just opened, so plan for surprises ahead, but grab a cappuccino from La Comuna and the Chicken & Waffles…and then go take a nap.
