As you head towards the Otro Lado from downtown, turn right at the stop sign on C. Horizonte. About a block and half down the street, you'll see their sign and more parking up the steep hill behind their location. Make sure your parking break works if you park on the side street, that hill is no joke.

If you want to know what Baja food and culture is really all about, go to the farmers market at El Mercado Ranchero on Saturdays. You can pre-order special cuts of meat, and Yera works with the local ranching community to provide the most beautiful meats, chickens, cheeses and organic produce you'll find. She’s also got an open-fire food court that pops up of traditional fare; come watch them work and enjoy the delicious flavors at the sweet tables she’s set-up. There's also hand-crafted furniture, clay pots and more in their shop...for us, this is what community looks like.
